First Time Customer FAQs
Making Your First Appointment
Congratulations! If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’re about to become part of our amazing community of Audi and Volkswagen drivers here at Reflex Tuning—and we’re excited to meet you!
Whether you’ve already booked your first visit or are just calling to learn more, it’s important that we gather as much information as possible about your vehicle.
Why? Because your car’s service history tells a story—and knowing that history helps us give it the exact care it needs. Think of it like visiting a new doctor or dentist. Before they can recommend a treatment plan, they need your medical records. It’s the same with your Audi or VW—prior service records, past repairs, and maintenance schedules all help us keep your vehicle performing at its best.
Some of the questions that may be asked:
- Year, Make, Model
- How many miles are on the car
- How long have you had the car for?
- What was the mileage when you purchased it?
- Where has the vehicle been service in the past?
- Do you have all of your service records? If not, can you get them?
- What major repairs have been done to the vehicle?
- Has the vehicle ever been in an accident?
- Do you notice anything wrong with the vehicle? Vibrations, smells, performance issues, etc.
- Will you need a loaner vehicle during the appointment?
What Happens After You Drop Your Car Off?
This is the timeline of what happens once we check in your vehicle.
- Mike or Matt completes the initial inspection on your vehicle
- I (Heather) will edit the report and create the estimate
- You will receive a text and or email with the inspection report link
- Take a few minutes to review the report. Then reach out to us at your convenience.
- I will go over the report and estimate with you. Explain what we see, what is most important, what is coming due soon, and what maintenance is due based on the records you supplied.
- We can then decide on what we are doing during this visit and how long we may need the car for.
Communication You Can Count On
Our customers consistently tell us how much they appreciate our clear and honest communication.
From the start, you choose how you want us to reach you—text, call, or email. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way, and you’ll never be left wondering what’s going on with your car.
We also never go over our estimate without your approval. In fact, sometimes our customers are pleasantly surprised to find the final bill is less than what we originally estimated. Shocking, right? But that’s how it should be.
