Any Audi or VW engine at some point will need a water pump, carbon cleaning, and fuel injector service.
Anytime either 3 of those repairs are needed, we also replace all three together. By the time and mileage the pump, carbon cleaning, and fuel injectors are a good idea to replace at the same time.
This Audi A4 had a stumble/misfiring on acceleration. We diagnosed it to be a bad fuel injector. When we removed the injectors, the cylinder that was misfiring was extremely wet, due to the failed injector.
The water pump on this car was also leaking. We let the customer know about the leak last visit. However the fuel injector issue was a new problem.
After the carbon cleaning and fuel injector replacement this Audi A4 is running like new again. So smooth! So much more power!
