No. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act — a federal law — protects your right to use any qualified independent shop for maintenance and repairs without voiding your factory warranty. The dealer cannot require you to use their service department as a condition of your warranty. What matters is that work is performed correctly, with appropriate parts, and documented. Not always. A 2025 Audi A5 owner recently shared their package details with us — $1,799 for services to 40,000 miles. We priced the same services (oil changes, brake fluid flush, spark plugs, cabin air filters): the total at Reflex was approximately 32% less. Same OEM parts. And our repair warranty on each service is 3 years / 36,000 miles — not the 1 year the dealer offers. The package also carries an expiration: services must be performed by 52,000 miles or 60 months, or the remaining value is forfeit.

Audi's own owner's manual includes this note:

"The intervals shown in this table are based on vehicles operating under normal conditions. In case of severe conditions, such as extremely low temperatures, excessive dust, etc., it is necessary for certain operations to be carried out in between the given intervals. This applies particularly to engine oil changes and the cleaning or replacing of the air cleaner filter element."

New Hampshire winters, road salt, temperature swings, and seasonal conditions qualify as severe by any measure. We recommend oil changes every 5,000 miles — that's Audi's own guidance for our climate, not just ours.

Yes. We use OEM and OEM-equivalent parts that meet Audi's manufacturing specifications — the same parts the dealer uses, from the same manufacturers. For fluids, we use Castrol full-synthetic oil matched to your vehicle's exact specification (VW 502 00, 504 00, or 508 00 depending on model and year). Using the correct specification isn't optional — it directly affects long-term engine health.
